Fires!

Hi guys I have decide to share this on a blog because sometimes things like these need to be share this is a prophetic word.
If you general believe that God speaks then I ask that read this and pray God opens your understanding.
I will first describe what happen if you don’t watch it but it will make more sense if you do.
If you didn't watch the London 2012 Torch lighting then I encourage you to watch this so it makes sense.

In the first part of the torch relay Sir Steve Redgrave brought the torch into the stadium and handed seven young people of different abilities and different ages and for them to light the torch. They were not random athletes but they were nominated by older and more experienced athletes.
They then went to the cauldron to light the beacon that the each individual light a pedal each which made the fire light gradually but completely light.

Why I am I talking about this I tell you the significance wasn’t that they were young nope it was that it was passed on to not one but seven nominated people.
I didn’t notice this was at all prophetic till about three days later when I was seeking God about something different.
I didn’t truly understand it at all and he said ‘I’m handing other the torch’ to what I thought and somehow I forgot about the torch.
Then I was reminded of seven people.
In order for there to be and kind of revival or any kind of move of God there has to be a shift or move in authority and power so there you go he’s handing it over.
I believe that It won’t be just young people but people of all ages working together in harmony to reach the lost from the smallest little children to the oldest lady talking to her friend of God.

He is restore the city or cities there has been some many towns and city that would call themselves Christian but does God reign in those place not really.
‘They will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities

that have been devastated for generations.’ Isaiah 61v4

So I encourage you keep seeking God and if he says ‘Do it!’ Do it even if it sounds like the most outrageous thing to say to someone.
He could be telling you to talk to your best friend about God rather than what they did on Saturday night.
He could be telling you to talk to the homeless man you see every day on your way to work.
Or even that neighbor you ignore everyday he could be telling you to say hi.

Help for a stranger

Well a few months ago me and my sister decided we would use our spare room and put an advertisement on a website called couch surfing. The idea was to take in people planning to visit Liverpool and sight see, in return they don't pay but feed themselves and sleep on our spare bed.

I have to admit I was really against it at first thinking 'if they don't pay anything why should they stay!'
As you can probably guess God told me off and reminded me of this verse:

'Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25v37-40.

We have a spare room why not use it when these people are desperate, and so I started to do it myself and made myself a profile too.

There is a reason for this blog as well as what I've just shared, not everyone is called to take someone in but I encourage you to look for a person in need and pray.

I must share this and it is proof that God's timing was amazing as my last couch surfer (that's what we call them) came for 2 days to see the whole of Liverpool. She actually was gone for hours but she made it back in time for housegroup which I was running.

Let me tell you, I was going to do a quiz which I changed my mind about after doing my morning devotion about 'Forgiveness'. My idea was to talk and find biblical evidence of why we should forgive and then give people the opportunity to let go of people we hadn't forgiven and give it to God.
Let me also tell you that my couchsurfer was going to come a week earlier therefore missing what I was to share. Timing!!
Later after everyone had left we discussed house group and she shared with us something that had happened involving a church and someone she had to forgive, and that she had forgiven that person that night. Also apparently according to my sister she had brought herself a bible just before coming to Liverpool Timing !!!

'There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:' Ephesians 3v1.

Remember God's timing is everything and you don't realize how much your helping people by giving them a couch to sleep on and many places to travel to in return.

God Bless

Am I really listening or am I just feeling it!!

Hi guys I have blog for ages so I think it’s about time I update you on the inner workings of my brain. Got to apologies for those who have been reading this and have not read for like ages. I’ve like loads of work to do. Today I going to discuss not one but two things that I have learnt a lot about the last few months.

Go t to be completely honest what I talk to you about I have already learnt myself and I’m still learning it today. Firstly I am going to talk to you about priorities and our own focus. I pondered this a few weeks ago when I was think of what to preach about in my uni. Obviously I changed my mind and talked about a different subject in the end. What do we set are priorities in are we to focused on selfish prayer, Relationships, food, money, TV this is defo one of my down falls and let’s face it Facebook guys. I we to just stop take a break and focus on seeking God for the important things. We will find the answers to those prayers we’ve been asking all along.

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Matthew 6v24.

Second thing I have been how can I truly listening to God this like the over subject ties in to each other. Am I truly listening or am I just feeling there is times when yes I do listen to Prophetic words and scriptures that could be for me that one. But little do I know It couldn't be for me I could just be a word for all of us. also there is times when I think am I just feeling like its from you. You know when your studying and you open the bible and its just what your feeling.

'Test and see that the Lord is Good' -Even if there is a person that shares a word that Is usually right test it, If you feeling blue test and see that the Lord is good. I always find that the best words come from him and only him. Even if they are conflicting.

Thanks and remember LISTEN!!

I had a Feeling that I belong

Hi guys its been ages since I've had a free moment to blog. I thought it was about time I did so what new with me. I have started a bible course on theology which is very challenging but it is very interesting. I started doing more waitressing much to my dismay it is very boring.

Recently I start to question who am I? Where to I fit in to this big master plan that so many people talk about. Well I don't know much but this I know I fit in. I have a feeling that I belong know matter how different I am to everyone else.

On a different note I came to the realisation while walking home with my dog. Lets just say some of my best thinking moments have been spend while walking that dog. I find the best theologists are those who look on life with simplicity. We don't have to have the brains or meerly the looks just the ability to see life the way God sees it.

So for me to truely know where I fit in I should really start thinking and reminding myself  who God is and what he truely thinks of me. So from now one I am going to do this and try to documents my finding on the voice of God.

So look forward to read each week.

Thank you for reading.

It Is Time!! Stand up

Hi if anyone reads this still but I know I'm writing for someone to read. Lets do a recap since my last blog I have been to an interview down south where lets face the job was amazing and I was thinking of moving there for a moment. Then after not a lot apart from these very recent riots that hit London, Manchester and then later Liverpool. In these recent circumstance I think What if . But could spend are whole life on what ifs buts and maybe we would be constantly going in circles.

Well this what I think we all have a path right that we most take and a lot of the time we live in fear of whats next but we defo shouldn't. I prayed about the recent riots in are city that would stop and people wouldn't fear to go out after and this is what God gave me:

'He will cover you with his feathers,
   and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday. ' Psalms 91v 4-6

He always protects us and its so easy to be right under the line of fire so to speak and to think about giving up. I can honestly say I've had a couple weeks I've felt like giving up and thinking that's the only way, but do you what that's whats shaping us in to people of God.
We have to carry the light into the darkness and remember God is the light of the world and his flame never goes out.

And now is the time to stand up and speak up and step up to the plate I am telling myself this its scary. We know these are the signs of his coming and we should be doing something as there is still some good people in this world as well as bad. Not to say we can't help the bad. We have a big fight ahead to fight.

I hope this hasn't freaked you out and has encouraged you comment below thanks

Beyond The Madness

Well I most admit I haven't had a clue what to write about Hench the lack of blog. I've been busy very busy but also not very busy to so I have no excuse.  This what gets me I've had all this time but what have I done with it. That's what God has really kicked me up the butt about.

Am I really a Martha or a Mary? to enlighten if you don't know the story I shall give u a brief overlook Martha and Mary where sisters and they invited Jesus to there home to stay right and Mary was sat at the feet of Jesus listen while Martha was very busy preparing everything she then complains about how Mary isn't doing anything . Jesus then reply and said 'you are worrying to much ' basically he was say she need to stop worrying about what she was doing and to start listening. I sometimes have to stop myself from being to busy and trying to please God as much as I can I miss what he trying to say sometimes. Sometimes we think to just sit and listen Is lazy but those are the best moments. I myself have had many amazing moments just walk my dog to the park and admire the beauty. I have to take my mind out of the madness to look beyond it all.

I still have to say I'm not perfect right I still learn things everyday from God things I've heard before but shown to me in a new light. I would love to be a Mary everyday but occasionally fall into Martha I suppose your not human if you don't.

To finish off my advise is this try you best to step out of the madness even if you have to take a imaginary dog for a walk. Start listening cause you know what the best place to find God is in the stillness When All Is Stripped Away.  I will do the same and lets see how many answer you get to those questions you've been nagging God about for years.

God bless

Give it all up for him !!

Hi I have started a fast today so I'm gonna write everything that God speaks to me about and hopefully It will bless you.
Day 1- Sunday - Remember that Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart !!
Also sometimes others are going to take the lead so you most follow .God is going to humble you. Go where God is leading even If you think you getting pushed to the back so you can have team work. Humility John 10v1-6.Isaiah 61v1-3-Bind up the broken hearted !!

Day 2- Monday- God is Holding you together -Laminin molecule and he will sort it out !
If you don't this its How Great is Our God http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KqziOKZ4AE
believe me this blessed me.
You will grow weary but God will renew your strength. I will Fear no evil for my God is with me.
Day 3- Tuesday- This was housegroup was on the prodigal son and I most admit didn't really get much out of it but I looked other some old notes that kinda spoke to me anyways. Ephesians 3v14-20
God love for you is far deeper than we can fathom.

Day 6- Friday Look after your sisters always have sister in the Lord to spend time with. Sisters are anyone that is female in the church they are the people you go to if you going through the wilderness. Praise God even if you don't feel like praising him.

Final Day- Sunday Matthew 6v19-24- Stop storing up your treasures in things that are going to mould and get ruin start storing them in him right ok cool .
Sometimes the best fights are fought in the desert and the valley places when all is stripped away we have to go there to grow into a better person.
So my finally word are this spend time with God cause you will be surprise what God talks to you about. He I so massive compare to are tininess. He loves are heart and everything about it and he is always waiting for us to run back to him. So my advice to you is this Give it all up and start walk or running back to him cause he is just waiting to throw his arms around you and tell you how much he loves you.
God bless love
